This pattern makes a sleek and functional fanny pack/hip bag. This cute little bag is the perfect size for your phone, keys, wallet, and chapstick. It’s perfect for everyday hands-free living. Just clip it around your waist and you’re good to go!
You know how most sewing projects have random leftover scraps that pile up? This pattern will leave you with a cute and functional bag and no odd shaped leftovers!
The finished bag is approximately 5 inches (height) x 9 inches (length) x about 2 inches (width).
This is a measure & cut pattern. You don’t need to print out the pattern to follow the instructions.

What you need for this project:
1. FABRIC: Two pieces of fabric measuring 15 X 11 inches; one piece measuring 11 X 6; and one piece measuring 8 X 4 inches. Canvas fabric works best, or poplin fabric with interfacing.
*1/2 yard of two fabrics will be sufficient.*
2. HARDWARE: One 1″ lobster claw; two 1″ d-rings; one 1″ slider bar; 10″ zipper; 1″ wide cotton webbing, approximately 40″ in length. OR you can use 4″ X 40″ of fabric to create your own strap instead of the cotton webbing.

3. SUPPLIES: Matching thread, zipper foot, scissors, seam ripper, tape measure/ruler, fabric marker or chalk, straight pins, fabric clips
