Join us for repair cafe – it’s FREE!

Friday, November 17th from 6-8:30pm at the No Trace sewing studio 

(421 McCormick Ave in Capitola).

Bring clothes, home textiles, backpacks, jewelry and bikes that need some TLC to the No Trace sewing studio.

It’s Friday night so feel free to BYOB!  It’s a free sip n’ fix! Light snacks and water will be provided.

Please include in your email the item(s) that need repairing so Liz can let you know if you need to bring certain materials with you.

We’ll get you started on your repair journey so you can get your beloved items back in use and keep them out of the landfill!

Here are the types of things we can help you fix:

-holes in shirts, pants, blankets, etc.

-missing buttons

-stuffed animals

-broken zipper (you’ll need to contact Liz to find out the size zipper to bring.  The studio has a very limited selection of zippers for sale for $4-$6 each).

-tears in clothes, pillows, blankets, etc. 

-some broken necklaces and simple jewelry repair.

-broken backpacks

-bike brakes

-flat tires

NOTE: no clothing alterations during repair cafe, just repairs :). Thank you!
